Kande Horse is situated near the shore of Lake Malawi, 50km south of Nkhata Bay. With a yard of twenty eight horses of various breeds from Basotho Ponies to Thoroughbreds, as well as a breeding programme with our stallion, there are suitable horses for any rider and activity. Novice through to experienced riders, adults and children alike are welcomed to Kande Horse where they can choose from a range of equine activities including rides, tuition, Polocrosse and swimming bareback in the lake.
The Stables Guest House is located within the working yard and offers riding holiday packages to guests who wish to spend more time exploring the diverse surrounding landscapes of Brachystegia forest, floodplains and beaches on horseback. Packages include luxury accommodation in the unique farmhouse-style guest house, home cooked meals and up to six hours riding per day. In addition to the riding options on offer there are also other activities available nearby including diving, sailing, canoeing, bird watching and walking.
